when did you tell your mum and dad that you have a GF or BF?

Tonight,i have just told my parents that i have a gf and i am going to see her tomorrow.Amazingly,they don't express any surprise which is really beyond my thingking.Because it's my first time to tell them i have a gf and they are both in tradional mind.so that calm respondent is too imcrediable!!!
And now,my dear friends,pls let me share your story,ok?

The first time I told my parents was about 3-4 yrs ago, my mom knew about it but I was really scared to tell my dad that I have a bf.. It actually took me 2 yrs to admit it to him, same as yours.. He responded ok but he asked why it took me so long to tell him, he didn't want me to go into a relationship until I finish my studies so that I'll be able to do good.. But eventually things did go well that time but that person isn't my bf anymore..
