I've been thinking about getting some dwarf fruit trees. I have a pear tree and a walnut tree in the yard but my yard is so small that I can't plant anymore trees out there. I was looking at some tree catalogs and I was shocked at how many varieties of dwarf trees there are now that produce full size or near full size fruit! Do any of you myLotters have one of these dwarf fruit trees that you grow in a portable planter or bucket and do they produce a lot of fruit? How hard is it take care of them? Tell me all you can please!

I do not know anything about the dwarf trees. However, I saw some dwarf orange trees in a greenhouse in Washington, DC. They seemed to be growing okay. That is the extent of my knowledge about dwarf fruit trees.

I've been thinking about getting some smaller dwarf trees recently, mostly cause I love container gardening and have a small patio. I'll keep you up to date if I get any.
