As human beings, sleep is one part of our life. So there're close connections or links between our bed and us. Are you a picky one for your bed? What kind of bed do you prefer? Why? If you need to sleep in a strange or new place, such as hotels, friends' home, etc, will you feel uncomfortable the next morning? Share your opinions? Thank you in advance.^_^

I'm not picky about the bed itself. I stayed in a lot of different places as a kid. I sleep soundly and can sleep almost anywhere. The only thing I'm picky about is that none of my limbs hang off the bed. I can't deal with that. Too many scary stories as a kid! My current bed is one of those uber-comfy foam mattresses, on the floor. We could have a bed frame, but it's not a priority, and with my vertigo I'm safer on the floor!

Hi, lecanis. After reading your words, I memorized my childhood. As a child, it's difficult for most of them to stay in bed without any moves. Yeah, it's great. Mattresses on the floor. It won't make you unsafe any more. ^_^ Thank you for your reply. Have a nice day! :)

I am not really picky about where to sleep but I do am about who owns the bed~~I'll explain. I love to use things that are either owned by me or are nominated to me. So for that matter, I only like to sleep either on the bed I own, like in my own house, or is assigned to me, like in company's accommodation, which though is owned by company but still I am the only user of that bed. I get uncomfortable on other people's beds and sometimes I can't even sleep the whole night on it or even if I sleep I am not satisfied and don't get refreshed. same is the case when I am in hotel, a friend's place, a relative's home etc. In my house, I can sleep anywhere, on the bed, on the sofa, on the ground, and I have even slept on table and chair occasionally. The only thing that matters is that it should be mine. I have also less problem if the thing I sleep on is owned by no one such as sleeping on ground while on tracking or mountain climbing, at the lakeside etc

Hi, kamran12. What a good and detailed explanation! :) I see now. No matter where it is, if only the bed is owned by you or you've accepted it as yours. Yeah, our house is the best place for us forever, whatever the place in the house. Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. Thanks a lot. Wish you enjoy your time every day!

a place to sleep for me - The sofa where i spend most of the time or even sleep
For me its hard for me to sleep at friends place i don't know why but i can sleep anywhere in my room or in my house. So i don't go for overnights to my friends places as i always return home with red eyes as i stay awake whole night. But in hotels its ok with me as most of the times i' ll be completely worn out when i go to sleep in hotels. I can even sleep on the sofas watching television at my house.

Hi, healer. Yeah, sleeping on the sofas sometimes happens on me(hehe..). Red eyes? I think you'd better learn to adapt yourself in a new environment, lol. Thank you for your response. Wish you happy every day! ^_^

I always felt more comfortable sleeping on my own bed. It isn't my nature to sleep at anyone's bed or house for that matter. I have this habit of surrounding myself with a bunch of pillows all over me. Hotel is fine as long as the staff can provide me with more pillows. I actually slept like a baby last month when I stayed in a hotel. It was one of my most peaceful sleep in many months.

Hi, charms88. You prefer your own bed. Besides, if offering enough pillows to you, hotel is ok. Hope you can always keep a sound sleep like baby! :) Have a happy day!

I don't sleep too well at friends or families homes within the first two nights. Takes me a while to settle in and get comfortable. I don't mind what type of bed it is as long as it's big enough for me to sleep on. My husband and I prefer a King size bed as opposed to a queen because we both are big (in height and weight haha).

Hi, maddysmommy. Thank you for your response. You're picky for the sleeping place not the bed, aren't you? I see. You and your husband prefer a King size. :) Wish you and your family have a nice day!

Hi mexshyl, I am quite picky about my bed preference. I like King-sized bed because it is more spacious. It really depends what place I am staying overnight. Strangely, I can sleep better in new places or friend's home.

Hi, ellie26. I'm not too picky, I think. I prefer the spacious, soft and comfortalbe bed. I can sleep well in new places or friends' home while I'm sleepy. Thank you for your response. Have a nice day! :)
