Girls! When you encounter Perverts, How do you handle them?

My friend whenever she rides in public vehicles she encounters guys who i think are BORN perverts. Actually i dont know why guys do it or what they can get from: 1). Brushing their shoulders to a girl sitting beside him. 2). Pretending to be asleep so that he can lean on her shoulder as if "he doesnt know". 3). Guys who kept on looking/glancing on your breast or legs? And there are more... But the question is how do you handle these perverts. If it is on a Public vehicle, its best that you speak loudly that you dont like what he is doing. What my friend does when this happens to her she talks in a LOUD voice saying, "Excuse me but do you have a problem!?" another time she looked at him straight saying, "Get off!" and because she is almost screaming the other people stares at the guy knowing that he is a pervert. There was even a time that the driver returned his fare and asked him to get off the vehicle. But of course my friend is only brave because there are lots of people. However if you find yourself in the scenario, make sure the ither passengers know that you are being harrassed. So that the guy would Stop. Before you go down make sure he doesnt follow you. Always get off in crowded places. If he does follow look for a cop/guard/police station to report him. I once experience this in the mall where i felt i was being followed. What i did is ask one of the guards to walk with me to my car because i dont feel safe. Did you ever had an experience that you were harrassed? What did you do?
