What do you think of the Washington Nationals season so far? They started rough but it seems they are beginning to hit their stride. They had a good seris with the World Champs (so called!) St. Louis Cardinals last weekend.

that's ok. I don't know much about soccer....er, football, I think you call it. The Nationals are a baseball team (a little ball is thrown to a player from the opposite team who has a long, slender piece of wood, called a bat, in his hand) and are located in Washington DC. The Cardinals are in St. Louis MO. They are the 'world champions' as they won the world series....the major competition...last fall. I hope you don't sulk for long! lol.

I am still moping about my Chicago Cubs. Although they are doing better than the Cardinals. :) It seems like the Cubs' hitting could do better. The Washington Nationals who knows. Anything can happen. I thought the Brewers were going to win our division but now they have stumbled some and Houston is gaining or may have passed the Cubs and taken over 2nd place in our division. Who knows. I think we may have to wait until we get closer to the end of the season. Who knows, the Cardinals may hit their stride and take the division again.

Going into the season you knew they weren't competing for a championship. They are a young team and are still building. You also knew the terrible start was not going to last. Playing in such a tough division also hurts them. Don't worry, in a few seasons they are going to be serious contenders as they mature as an organization.
