i have been having this back pain in the center of my back, and it really is bothering me already. its either maybe because i am too thin and i have no capacity to carry my niece around the house or i have scoliosis. yikes!! what do you think? is this just plain back ache or strain from carryingmy niece around the house or is this the early symptoms of scoliosis?

Why on earth do you think you are getting scoliosis?? Everyone gets a little back ache every now and again and the fact you have been carrying around another person explains it. Scoliosis is very very very painful and unbearable and people with it struggle to every be comfortable. I think, chances are, that if you are a girl you are wearing the wrong size of bra. And if you aren't then you are someone who needs to strengthen up your back muscles. Go to your doctor and they will show you some back exercises to strengthen those muscles.

bloody hell why are you slouching. be proud of being tall at least for the sake of your back. of course if you slouch your back will hurt cos you are putting so much strain on your lower back to take the weigth of everything, if you really struggle to do it be yourself you can get some sort of back brace to wear under your clothes until you train yourself to stand tall. what kind of impression must you make on people being all hunched cos thats what you are. they wont be saying - look at him, th e tall guy. they will be saying look at him- hes a hunch. stand tall, be proud of your height at least for the sake of your spine.

Of course I would be worried but you need to go to the doctor and he will have you get some exrays and other tests done. I dont think you have scoliosis. You would have known it when you were alot younger. Please have it checked out by a professional.

How are you now? It's good that you're asking question about the pain you feel on your back. Below are some symptoms of scoliosis, if you notice any of these signs present do schedule for an appointment with a doctor as soon as possible. - Shoulders are different heights – one shoulder blade is more prominent than the other - Head is not centered directly above the pelvis - Appearance of a raised, prominent hip - Rib cages are at different heights - Uneven waist - Changes in look or texture of skin overlying the spine (dimples, hairy patches, color changes) - Leaning of entire body to one side It will also help if you research about scoliosis on the internet, you would be surprised on how much knowledge you'll gain. Also take a look at the picture I attached if your back looks like it when you bend over then you most probably have scoliosis. Good luck.

Yeah, I'd say if you start to feel concerned again to have an x-ray. But, there are many other things that could be causing your backpain. I have Scoliosis but am not constantly in pain, although I do have some posture issues. So, I'm not sure what gave you that idea but an x-ray can put that thought to rest. Glad you're feeling better though.
