When was the last time you Cried!

It may appear a simple question to you but for me it has special meanings specially when we cry for others. It may also look something not very manly but for me it's a very beautiful expression of deepest sense of grief and loss. The last time I probably cried for personal reason was 12 years back when I couldn't top in my 10th grade, the I grew up=P I also have had tears in my eyes occasionally when I lost some friend or even because of overwhelming joy, specially when my son was born but I didn't really cry. I also cried some 6 years back when a girl was raped, who I could save previously but then I had to leave my place because of my job in another city. We had a relation of respect for each other. The day I heard this news, I wept terribly. I just couldn't help thinking that it was my fault, that I should have been there to protect her again. There is an event about one of my ancestors, however, who was brutally murdered with his whole family but one, whom I descend from. I have a strong spiritual connection with him and whenever I remember that event, I cry a lot. What about you? do you anything to cry about? when was the last time you cried and why?

I just cried last night, my daughter called to tell me my ex sis-in-law had passed away. I had married very young at 16 and she was younger than I so she was always like a sister to me.Those tears also brought back thoughts of my mother whom I lost in December. So many things bring tears to my eyes nowdays watching the news always has a touching story, sometimes just seeing a new baby, and the holidays with out my mother.

I last cried 2 days ago. I was on a forum and some peole were being extreemly hurtful towards me. Calling me all sorts of names...alot I can't repeat in here. I was called everything from a bad mother to a loose woman. I tried to defend myself and the moderators of the site decided to ban me for 48 hours because of it. While I was unable to fight back, the thread was allowed to continue despite me emailing the MODs 4 times with pleas to have it all deleted. It was allowed to stay on there for an hour and a half... I had to sit there and read what was being said about me. I got very upset and have decided never to go back..despite the fact I met my best friend on there.

It's really sad when people call names and are disrespectful and I am really sorry to know that you have to cry because of that, apricotrains!. I think that a person of character rarely resorts to name calling, in first place. It's also frustrating to know that you were yourself banned and were not allowed to defend yourself. I usually refrain from responding to disrespectful people and don't usually bother or care about what other people say about me, if all they have is name calling. I'll respond, however, when there is a misunderstanding which I need to clear.

I cried two hours ago when I talked to my cousin overseas about her newborn baby - apparently her daughter has a feature that reminded her of her father who passed away. I think we just both got emotional at that point and were both teary.

I understand that emotions can run high about a loved one to the point of crying, but It seems that the loss is compensated, isn't it urbangirl? Thanks for sharing.

You are very right urbangirl that such a loss can't be actually compensated and it would be great if he could have enjoyed his grand daughter. but as you say it is cycle of life and we have no choice to accept it. At least she had someone in who she can see her father, I was just refering to this. I am sorry if I have hurt your feelings, urbangirl.

the last time I cried was last night. I cry everyday since I found out that my son has a brain diorder. I cry every night when I lay my kids to sleep because I am asingle mom, and often find it hard to cope with everything life has dealt me. I try to be strong when for my kids, but when I have layed them to sleep at night, my emotions often overwhelm me.

My philosophy of life and people suggests that whether we have descended and came to be, by evolution or by creation, we do share a common ancestry some how, though far above in our blood line. So, I see all humans as my extended family of which you are a part. For the same reason I don't believe in races as such, for me we all belong to a single race, "a human race". May you have strength, happiness and pleasures in life.

Thank You so much for you inspirational comments, although it is hard being a single mom a & coping with my sons Disorder, I do feel comfort in knowing that there are people like you in the world that care, even if we are strangers to one another.

I cry all the time lol seriously everything makes me cry. I ran over a rabbit a year ago and cried, I felt so bad about it. I am very sensitive, though I don't like to cry in front of anyone, I'd rather hide in the bathroom until I can stop. I even cried over a commercial once.

I believe that you were not crying responding to this discussion, JessyBlue!! were you?:-) your sensitivity is because of your care for human and even other values, I believe. but I am a little perplexed by knowing about commercial thing, what made you cry? Whatever the case is, I pray and hpe for you that you may never need to cry for your personal reasons, Thanks for sharing, JessyBlue!

You'll have to excuse me if my response seems frivolous but I cry a lot lately. I'm not sure if because I'm going through menopause or if it's because I am sensitive. I have lost many friends through the years and cry more for some than the others. I have cried form Joy, loss, and pain.

Hello seahorse4445! Your response isn't frivolous at all rather it is actually sensible. I have read in theory that hormonal changes may make someone feel like crying, so it's natural. Similarly, loss of friends, especially the sincere ones, is a real loss indeed. Also, Joyous emotions can bring tears. So, all what you said makes perfect sense! I have also lost some friends, in peace and in terrible ways which saddens me too.

I watched a sad movie a few nights ago and it made me cry. I love the feeling of a good cry it makes me feel good. I think we all need this release in our life. There are so many different reasons why we cry I love to cry when I am happy. I am the type of person that will cry on the drop of a hat.

I don't really cry kamran, but I feel sad many times for friend, family, poor people and sufferings around the world. I'd admit that some times i feel like crying but it just doesn't happen as i would see some family member or friend and i become less sad.

I just cried recently because I remember my hubby who's far away from me for now, and it's because of loneliness and missing him the reason I cried but just privately without my parents knowing.

i am the type that bottles it all up and never cries...never lets it out. That said, the last time i cried was this morning. my father lsot his job and that means we also lost insurance. We are now pretty muvh screwed. His company just wasn't makinghte money it needed and had to lay off about 60% of the employees. Since he was one of the highest paid ones there, he was let go. We were carely scraping by as it was. Now we are most likely going ot lose everything.

I am so sorry to listen about all that, xfallenxlostx! I believe that when there is a will there is a way and by mutual help and support of each other you can make it through. I will be praying for you that your problems be resolved. but instead of thinking about loss, try thinking some way out and a solution, I believe that you will find some. My best wishes with you and your family.

Hi, kamran12. I have to accept that I'm an emotional girl. Just last night, I cried when I saw a competiton program on TV. Because the two contestants on the arena or stage are from the same area and have become good friends, after their performence, one of them must to leave the arena or stage eventually. I'm easily moved to tears when I see some kind of touching scenes or occasions. My father always said that I should be more mature with my increasing age. I wish I can control myself better in the future. Wish you happy all the time! :)

I hope with real life experiences, you will start changing with time, mexshyl. We all change, sometimes, it's better and at other times it's not. We just shouldn't forget our human factor. Crying for others is not really bad. I hope and pray that you may have nothing personal in life to cry about. Wish you happy too, mexshyl, and thanks for responding and sharing.
