I use to now I am in a lot of debt. I learn now not to buy anything unless I really need it.

Yes, sometimes I do that buying on impulse, especially if I have brought along a lot of cash. I buy whatever that caught my fancy. It is really not a good habit.

No I am pretty careful with my money. I grew up very poor, and my husband and I worked very hard to get what we have. We live pretty simply, but we enjoy our life a great deal. One of the things we enjoy is finding useful items for family and friends at yard sales, flea markets and thrift shops. When hard times come we don't usually have to worry very much. This year the price of gas is going to hurt us on our annual trip to see family. But that just means we will pack a picnic lunch for a few outing rather than eating at a restaurant.

I am working in a bank and with the little salary that I receive, I have to budget it for my daily needs. That includes my food fares and apartment rentals. There's no more left for extra things. But when I passed the supermarket or in the department store, I've forgotten what I already have budgeted. I would think of buying a laundry soap but I end up buying a basket of foods and beverages. There's also a time that I went to a department store to buy 3 pairs of undies but when I came out of the store, I have with me a box of new shoes and a paper bag of new clothes. I am an impulse buyer, when I see what I like, I forgot about budgetting
