Abbreviations

I don't think I have ever made a mistake quite like that...sounds intriguing! LOL I did once try to use an abbreviation thinking that someone would know what it meant and they didn't know it, so I had to explain what it was...apparently there was someone the person knew whose nickname was the same as the abbreviation I used, so the person was not thinking it was an abbreviation at all! LOL It was enlightening....I realised I should probably not go around using any and every abbreviation expecting others to know it.
