What will you do if one of your teachers' teaching is very boring?

I really want to learn it well, but just reading textbooks by myself can't make me understand completely enough. Of course, asking other teachers is an effective way, but after all he is not the one who teaches me right in the class.

Go for tuition, I guess... I've had this experience once. I can't even understand what she's talking about in the class. I figured out that maybe I'm 2 slow 4 her. I've asked a few of my friends maybe they could explain stuff to me. Turns out, none of them could ever catch what she's explaining. Meaning...hehehe..Can't blame her, it's her first time teaching... If I get even boring, I just took out a piece of paper, make a mind map on that time, on the topic she touches, as sometimes, I've already read before the class started, or make xtra exercises..Or maybe, just draw things that popped out of my mind...hehehe..

Very unlucky, but anyway we need to pass the exam, so learning it well by ourselves is a good way...I think.

What really helped me when I was in school was finding other students from the same class to study with. Since different students have different learning styles, if you can get a few people who look at things in different ways together, you should be able to overcome the difficulty of a boring teacher. Good luck!

If it's early enough in the year you can switch teachers if possible. Otherwise I think it's a matter of grin and bear it. Unfortunately this will not be the only time in life you will be bored but have to participate. I cannot count the number of meetings I've gone to only to give people the pleasure of hearing themselves speak. LOL It's not going to stop.. so I guess you have to figure out how to make the best of it.

Well, now the semester ended... Unluckily, we cannot change our teacher unless most of the class against him. ~~finally, I got over it.

If you really need to know about what to do, research about "how to learn" instead of "what to learn". You will go places if you know what i mean. Good luck. Don't forget to rate.

Thank you very much!! I think "how to learn " IS much more important than "what to learn", but it seems that I still do not find a learning method that very much suits me. Maybe I will find one in my study. Thank you again!

That's very unfortunate.., I have had experiences like that where the teacher is just plain boring. It makes learning a lot harder and less fun but that's just how it is. You can make suggestions, but still, you're stuck with him/her for the rest of the semester. Better luck next time. Cheers! Happy Posting :)

Thank you... I am really worried about my course, and I think I will still try hard to make it well.
