This serial killer is from my city & state. In fact, the small town where he committed these attrocious killings, is quite familiar to me. He is in jail where my brother is in charge of him. He has written a book, where apparently there is a section about my brother. This book has not been released, & our Government are trying to legislate a law that will stop criminals from profiting from their crimes. This killers crime is known as "The Bodies in the Barrel". & the title says it all. To read more aboout one of his nasty methods, click here: http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,21833485-5006301,00.html

Serial killers are special people that act like monsters. They should not be in the general population. I would allow the sale of the book however the money would be best served in a fund for victims of crime. With the monies helping the police to fund their advances in their fight against crime. If there is money to be made why not use it to help the good side. Just my thoughts.

I can see your point. I think the authorties & many other people, don't want the criminal to have the chance to express his views publicly.

I don't know what to feel while reading the article. It was horrible and sickening that I felt like throwing up. Bunting has manipulated Vlassakis mind and forcing him to do the most inhumane act of cannibalism. I am not updated with this serial killer. But what kind of punishment was accorded to him?

Cetainly this is atrocious. Beyond the acts of violence themselves, the mind control is quite alarming in itself. Do have a good day.

Ohhh how FUN ... I am glad to see another city gets the glory instead of Texas all the time :) I bet your brother will have some stories to tell, it is events like this that make our lives somewhat exciting. When I was in legal we would get top news cases to work on and it was always exciting going to work since it was what was happening then and now.

That story is really sad when you think about what kind of lasting effect this will have on the child . I don't see any problem with criminals writing their story but agree that they should not recieve any of the profits . If anything the profits should be donated to the familes that are left of the victims or doanted to a worthy cause . A serial killer is a sick mind that is so twisted that they don't even realize that what they are doing is sick and inhuman . They have no remorse for what they do and deserve all the punishment they get and making money off of the crimes they have commited is hideous .

Serial killers are sick people. They should pay for their crime and be phased out from this world. There won't be peace if he is freed. We will never know who is his next target.

This "guy" employs the "Hannibal Lector" methods to a certain extend. It´s disgusting. I´m sorry that there´s a section about your brother in the book. I bet he´s not too pleased about it. :-( The book should never be released. The profit the killer will get from the sales would be like a reward to him to for the atrocious crimes he committed. I hope your Government is going to be successful with legislating the law. It would be extremely positive. Dana

It is a very good idea:to stop the criminals to profit from their crimes. They are not writers, not jornalists, not super stars. But the market shows interests and there is allways a way to avoid the official low. For example they can sell their story for very good money and somebody else to be official author.

Serial killers are unbelievably evil. It is scary to think that they exist. Whenever I see a story about serial killers I always wish our laws were more severe. They should have no chance to ever enter society again. They lost that right.
