Weight Loss Competition - June 2, 2007

Yesterday wasn't a good day for me. I had planned on going walking with my parents after we ate dinner, but instead we ended up in Immediate Care for my dad. He has not been feeling right for awhile now and when he tried eating his food, he kept throwing up, so my mom and I took him to the doctor. Unfortunately they still don't know whats wrong with him and he has to go see a stomach specialist over the next couple weeks. So, needless to say I didn't work out yesterday. Today I plan on going to the park and walking/jogging. I will do that as soon as I get done with this message. I have a graduation party to go to today so I probably wont count my points, but I will definitely control what I eat. Weekends are usually the hardest for me. Not only do I NOT count my points, but I also over do it when I go out to eat. Hopefully today will be a little better! Have a nice day! Again, good luck to all!

Morning Rachel, sorry to hear about your dad, My prayers will be with him. I did good yesterday, went to the gym did 30 minutes on the elipcila (can't remember how to spell it) and worked my abs with the ball. did good with my points till 10pm when my hubby handed me the rest of his Hormel chili and it looked like he had not eaten any of it so I just counted it for the can 10 points yuck!!so I had to use 8 of my weekly 35 points. Like you the weekends are my worse also. but so far today I am on track. I have a headache today also but I think that is because I have decided to stop taking my Lexapro. and this my 4th day off. hope I make it ;) Have a great weekend, sissie

I forgot to ask is this our first date on here? I looked and could not find the one for yesterday. also I took my weight yesterday, do we need to post somewhere are how are we going to work this?

I did post a discussion yesterday. The fastest way to find it would be to just go to my page and see the discussion I started. Sounds like you are on the right track. I have done good so far today. I walked/jogged for almost two hours and I had a granola bar for lunch. I'm going to a graduation party later this afernoon where I know I will eat a big meal, so I'm saving my points! Congratulations on doing the eliptical, those things are tough. When I was signed up at Women's Workout World I was on one of those for a 1/2 an hour every day and every time I got off I felt so light headed. Keep up the good work!!
