I am sure that most of you know the show Most Haunted, But for those that don't, Most Haunted is a TV show that is originally based in the UK. They go to supposedly haunted locations and try to provoke and prove the exsistance of the paranormal (aka spirits, ghosts).
On June 1st, 2007 they aired a Live show here in the United States. At Eastern State Pen., located in Pennsylvania.
Personally, although I think the Eastern State Pen. to be haunted, I really think the Most Haunted team made it into some sort of joke. I don't know, but as far as I know every show of theirs I have seen there is always some form of activity going on, from rocks and things being thrown to someone being touched and/or pushed. With my understanding of the paranormal, things are not always gonna happen on que. If you really pay attention to the show each time someone on the Most Haunted team "calls out" and/or asks for the "spirits" to do something they always get some sort of reply back.
That is something that in my opinion is just impossible, in which made the United States episode out to be some sort of well planned out theatrical play. Even though some of the crew members looked genuinely scared, that was to be expected. I mean the place really doesn't give out any form of sereneness, even in the daylight hours.
I also had a nice little laugh at the web cams, which they had set up throughout the prison, so those watching at home could take part in the investigation. I was so unhappy with those I stopped watching an hour after they had them available. Whoever was the operator of them, sure seemed to be having some sort of fun with them. They were constantly moving them, someone was standing in front of them, and it was obvious that someone was standing around with a flashlight near the cams. It was really disappointing to say the least.
I truely held some form of hope that this show would be a lot different from their previous live shows, but those hopes were dashed not within a few minutes of the show beginning. Sure to anyone that doesn't no any better this episode did seem to be their scariest ever with Karl and the other guy getting scratched and at some point Karl throwing a person over the railing. But again something just didn't seem right to me. Eh, maybe I am just looking to much into it, but I take the paranormal seriously, and to me the Most Haunted team is just a bunch of theatrical players trying to make it on television.
If you saw Most Haunted lastnight, what is your opinion on last night show? Were there any specific parts you found to be believable?
