helped to make you who you are today? Have they made you a better person, or you still trying to figure out your life and the plan God has for you?
Personally for me, I grew up in a Very Abusive home, and so when I moved out on my own I had to learn to move on from this to get to where I am today. I ended up becoming an Alcoholic there for some time, but I am proud to say I now have almost 11 yrs. of Sobriety. I even ended up enduring a lot of Depression and went thru a time of Counseling and such and could not work when it was at its worst.
I have been homeless, had severe Health problems, and the likes and I know that these were once stumbling blocks in my path that has made me who I am today.
What are some of your Experiences?

Everything that we experience does become a part of us. We chose how we react and use it to live a life. You have had some real hurdles in your life and I am glad to see you have overcome. Many do not. My recent tragedies have seemed to be almost personal in nature however I chose to live on and see where they take me. Amazing at times when you can step back and watch goes on around you and participate in appreciation. Some things are hard to get over and yet we live on and perform our daily duties.

This is so true, and if we allow ourselves to live thru these, and move on we become better people. Some Great insight here. Thanks!!

I know what is is to be unwanted. unloved and mistreated by nearly everyone. That has largely been the story of my life. The only people in this world who love me are in the house where I live. Yes, our life experiences shape our lives and influence our thoughts, feelings and actions. The better that people treat us the happier that we are and also less depressed about how things are going in our lives.
