Hey Ladies. How do you get the smell out of the vaccum. I have one of those wind tunnel ones and it doesn't smell bad, it just has that vaccum smell and I don't like it. Any suggestions?

Hi Pajmaz, have you tried to put a bit of washing powder in the vaccum bag itself ??? Sometimes, it will help to get rid off unwanted smell. Good luck !!!

You can also just spread a bit those washing powder on the carpet or on the floor when you first vacum. It will gives also fresh smell afterward.

The cheapest thing and best suggestion I have for you is baking soda. It removes odors. It works for freshening all kinds of other things too, like if you do not like the scent of carpet fresheners, use baking soda

Try adding a scent oil, maybe with a cloth stuck to the hose. I personally use a Dyson because it doesn't have that smell and house smells so nice and fresh every time I vacuum. That smell was why I hated vacuuming.
