What would you do about a nosy friend?

I love my best friend to death. But, lately, she's really been getting on my nerves with all her suggestions. She butts into everything. And has practically made herself at home in my kitchen.
Sometimes I think she goes too far.
Don't get me wrong. She's a really sweet person, and we've known each other forever.
I don't want to lose her as a friend. So how do I tell her that enough is enough, without hurting her feelings?
Or, do I just grin and bear it?

If she's really your best friend you can find a way to tell her to slow down a little bit, I guess...
And if you don't know how to tell her this, then before grinning and bearing just think of all the good things about her... nobody's perfect. we all have flaws. the thing is, there're some that doesn't bother at all, some that bother but are bearable, and som that are definitely unbearable. Which one is the case here? That's entirely up to you.

Hi there - definately do not grin and bear as that will create a gap between you both with time...
If she is such a good friend and you know her for a long time tell her point blank that you need some alone time, space and when she gives her opinion or butts into something - tell her that you thank her for her opinion but that you will make up your own mind!
I have very good friends and we have learnt to give each other space in order to stay good friends.
I hope this works for you.
