found yourself in the same situation... What did you do?? Did you learn your leasson; tell that person that you understand his/her situation better or simply found yourself an excuse??

That's never happened to me. There are very few things I am really judgemental of, and they are all very serious offenses. None of them are things I have done myself, as of yet, and I've been in some pretty desperate situations. In fact, I am constantly being told by outsiders that having a child should make me understand why my parents abused me, and if anything it's made me realize just how horrible their actions were.

Good for you - seems like you learnt a lot from your own experiences.

i dont judge someone i dont know, and most of the time if i judge them i make it a point that they can hear me so i can hear their side. they can atleast explain what really happen. there is always two sides of the story. but in my case i always find someone who judge me and in fact they dont know me.... it is really very annoying but i dont owe them explanation so i dont care. people can be really judgemental and somehow some people enjoy doing that they feel they are too perfect when they do that.

Yes, I know what you mean when someone says something about you but hardly even knows you - it is good that you manage not to care, that should put them in the right place!

Yes, and sometimes the realisation sadly comes after we have acted the same! But this is a powerful tool in developing and clarifying ones actions. all the best urban

yes this has happened to me and I think it is that saying, judge and you will be judged. Its like teaching you a lesson in judging. Until you put yourself in their shoes you cant really say what you would do you know. When that happened to me I realized judging others isnt a good thing. And I try with all of my heart and soul not to do that anymore. =)

Yes...u never know what someone goes through unless you are in their shoes - I try to remember that now before I jump and pass a judgement! Thank you for participating.

Not to worry my friend, I have done it too but, for some reason (karma, I think), I end up being in some sort of similar situation and always remember how I passed a judgement about someone and...how it was not the right one! I have learnt my lesson in due course and now, I don't jump to conclusions - I often hear myself say that there must be a reason why someone is doing something, which I may not be able to see right at this moment :). Have a lovely weekend!
