particularly guitarists and keyboard players but any musicician who uses their computer to write, record or perform. Just wondering what software everyone is using these days. Personaly, Im using Cakewalk sonar 6 for my multitrack recording. Cakewalk has been a stasple of mine since years ago. I started when it was just audio pro 4.0! For my live and recorded guitar I'm using native instrument's guitar rig and amplitube. I recently discovered "kore" by native instruments. it is prolly by far the best ive seen for guitar and keyboard performance. It hosts all my guitar effects as well as all the synths I use(absynth, massive, fm8 and korgs legecy collection). SO, whats every one else using?

ah.. I am using Sony acid pro. I've tried to record guitar but due to lack of a pre-amp, i am getting too much noise. Amplitube becomes a plugin inside acid pro and I use toontrack EZdrummer for drums. can you suggest any cheap USB audio interface. And is m audio JamLab good enough?
