Band-CD

I have a cousin who is a wonderful singer! He plays in a band and they made a music CD which is fabulous!! They are an unknown group that play jobs in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin area on weekends. I wonder how I could help them promote their CD? My cousin sings in most all of the songs...she wrote the lyrics and music to one song on the CD. Most of the other songs are from the 5o's. The CD is Awesome! Just wish I knew how I could give guidance to the group! All input much appreciated!!

Hey dixie if you go to fredio.com/index.php?stationid=19 This is a radio station specifically for that kind of thing. You can either add the songs to my station or start your own station. Good luck with it.

Do you have any other ideas? Seems like it would be difficult to take a stack of CD's of an unknown band to a store and actually sell them. Your advice and input is vital, thanks, again.

If you have myspace you can put the music on there as well. I do believe there are other online radio stations but I am not sure what they are called. If I think of anything else I will let you know.

Well mentioning for starters gains interest. Do they have a website? You could point it out so those who are could find it and you never know it may result in some cds being bought. Although word of mouth is one of the only things I could suggest. ~Joey
