It is a bad habit to spit outside sitting inside the bus or any other vehicle.People should think of the welfare of other people when they do a thing.Spitting in a public place is bad specially those who use "pan " ...keep inside the mouth for a long time. When they find it uneasy they spit without seeing the moving crowd. In the spitting falls on some imagine how uneasy the person feels. People are forced to walk in roads where one can find spittings of people all over which makes so uncomfortable. You cannot bring law to avoid spitting in public places .Then how can this be stopped???

Suba, I must congratulate you for raising such an important social issues. I believe, you have the qualities of a 'social reformer'....and you should get yourself connected with some NGO in this field. Spitting is really very bad habit and creates ugliness on the streets. People should learn to behave themselves.

Oh thank goodness this is not something we have to worry about in our area as I have never noticed anyone doing anything like this before and that is a really gross habit not to mention could make others sick because it would spread more jerms . I would think that they should pass a law stating that one can not spit in public areas as this is just considered rude behavior and if one needs to spit then they can go to the washroom where they are not going to be seem and where they can get rid of whatever it is they need to spit up without spitting it at people walking by .

I agree spitting is replusive, nasty, disgusting, vile, etc. No one wants to walk in another persons disgusting spit. I don't know where you live but in most places there are city ordiances against doing so....so you can be fined if caught. If more people were fined, it would help to decrease the number of people that do spit in public.
