No I think my body is used to sitting at at computer or typewriter as I worked for many years, 8 hours a day, on them.

I do not feel that I am gaining weight from sitting at my computer since I do not spend too much time in front of it. I make sure that I go for walks at the park or using my equipment here at home to prevent gaining weight and using the computer too much. It could be a problem if people are eating a lot and using the computer a lot too. Even when I am at work I am not at the computer all the time and am walking around helping students.

I am lucky in that I go to the gym five times a week, so I don't have that problem, although I am wary of Deep vein thrombosis as well as having a flabby backside lol! I am guilty of spending too much time on the computer but at least I can burn off the calories on the treadmill.

I am on my computer for hours and hours every day. But I also make it a point to exercise and not be munching while at my desk. I know if I wasn't more active, sitting at my desk would for sure add more and more pounds. But it has nothing to do with mylot. This site is for entertainment purposes, mostly.
