Did you see the News, and Honors Seattle Mariners displayed tonight when Edgar was inducted into the Mariner Hall of Fame? I feel what an Honor that was, and since I loved watching him play, and miss his charisma this was very well deserved. But what was with the Sunglasses? Was this to cover his eyes, so we could not see how emotional he got, or was it to block the Sun? Well, I am very proud of Edgar Martinez, and his accomplishments. If I have my way, the next move for him truly needs to be the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.

Edgar was probably the best Mariner that has ever played the game as he was such a good hitter. He was Mr. Clutch on and off the field and would love to see him in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. He is a tremendous player and human being. I did not see the ceremony or him wearing sunglasses but I remember how good a player he was back then. Baseball needs more players like him.

Amen!!! There will never be another Edgar when it comes to Baseball. Also, the players of today are nothing like they used to be. They are all overpaid, and most of them really do not have the Love and appreciation of the game like they used too.

I am so glad to hear that he has gotten in the Mariners Hall of fame. He is such a good player and I was sad to see him retire from the team. I wish that I had gotten to go to one of his last games he played with them.
