As some of you know, I started my dream job this past Tuesday. Working for the PA Forestry Service, firefighting. Wasn't at work 30 minutes the first day and they informed me they were gonna break me in right! we were headed to a fire! This past week has been a long exhusting one, but it's been great! Working with a great group of guys, and doing what I love.

pa I admire you to the fullest. That is all I ever knew my Daddy to do. He was a Forest Ranger in Brantley County Georgia where I live. He went on to be with the Lord in 88 after retiring in 83. He had lung damage from so many years of breathing smoke in at fires etc. I wish you all the luck in the world and you will be in my heart and prayers. To me it takes a special person to follow that track. I am a ff/emt and do a little woods fires but I found it can get ugly out there in a quickness. Please be careful.

Thank you. It can turn on you in a hurry, wildland fires can and do many times create their own weather. It also takes a special person to do what you do. Stay safe
