Hello Has anyone read the Thoroughbred books by Joanna Campbell? I love these books. There is 72 books to this fiction series. I am 31 and started reading them last year. I find there aren't many books on horses for my age group and I love to read about dealing with the horses. If anyone loved or loves these books here is a cool website for you to look at www.whitebrookfarm.com/links.html What did you think of the books

I have read the books too. I haven't read all of them though. I am an adult too and find that books about horses, that I like reading, are hard to find. So generally I just read the juvenile horse books because I enjoy them the most. Some of my total favorite stories are the older ones that I grew up with. Like the Marguerite Henry books Misty of Chincoteague, Stormy Misty's Foal, Sea Star Orphan of Chincoteague, King of the Wind, Justin Morgan Had a Horse, Mustang, San Domingo. I also like the Black Stallion series by Walter Farley though I enjoyed the first few more than I did the later titles. One of my all time favorite horse stories ever is "The Grand Rogue" by Frances Priddy. She wrote a few other books that had some horses in them but Grand Rogue is her best one and deals more with the day to day horses lives the most. Then there are the C.W. Anderson horse books. I really love his illustrations most of all but some of his stories were very good. Like Afraid to Ride, The Outlaw, Blind Connemara. There's the Morgan horse trilogy by Sharon Wagner. Gypsy from Nowhere, Gypsy and Nimblefoot, & Gypsy and the Moonstone Stallion. Sam Savitt is another one of my favorite horse illustrators who also wrote horse stories. Midnight,& Vicki and the Black Horse. Jean Doty wrote some good horse stories too. Two of my favorites are Summer Pony and Winter Pony. There are so many other horse stories that I enjoy too. They really are my favorite stories and I do try to collect them whenever I find them. I checked out the website link that you listed. It's a great site. I plan on visiting it often so that I can check out all the links!
