The final book of the long chased series Harry Potter is finally coming out soon, but the question is, will the wave of Harry Potter die out? Will J.K. Rowling come up with another series to replace Harry Potter, or will Harry Potter, as rumoured just die off in our hearts like he is prospected to be, in the last book? It's really interesting what the trend will be like for these Harry Potter fans who have been tirelessly chasing after the Harry Potter series for at least 6 years or more.

I had heard that J.K. Rowling was going to write more adult themed books after the Harry Potter series was finished. I don't know if anything could generate the kind of following that this series has. But I know I would be willing to try anything that she has written. While I understand ending the series while it's still so popular, I will definately miss reading new installments!

Nah! After our generation gets its fill of Harry Potter, the next generation will be just as enthralled. Harry Potter is, and always will be, classic literature... though it might take a while for the old codgers to put it up there with say, Shakespeare ;). Even if J.K. writes another series, nothing will ever surpass her genius in writing Harry Potter. let's face it, the world hasn't seen this good of a series since Narnia!

Well in the short future , even after the seventh book getting out , there will be a lot of talk about it for atleast an year , and then the movies for the remaining twoo will go on for another 3 years . It will be in history after that . In the history books for kids :P in the history of the great britain , in the history of the world , dont think people will forget harry pottter . even though all these six books have come out , i still listen to the first book even now :P and dont feel somthing is boring in it . They would love it . Its a classic and will go down as a classic .

I don't think the Harry Potter wave will end after this last book is released. There are several reasons why and one is that there are still movies coming out about him and there are always more children growing up and finding out about Harry. I think that eventually the Harry Potter series will become a classic that will be remembered much like the Lord of the Ring series.

I don't think it will die off. I mean I'm a big enough fan of the books that they will always be awesome to me..the entire world of harry potter is going to continue to be big. What with many HP websites that have forums and fan fiction, it can continue to be big for many years to come. Plots can always be debated and new ideas formed about characters and the entire series in general. I think the fans of HP are definitely loyal enough to not just drop it the second they get done with Book 7. I know I would never do that.
