My left arm has started to tingle lately..do I need to be concerned?

Every once and a while, I notice my left arm and hand begin to tingle...it is usually shen I bend down to pick something up, but it happens at other times too. It is not real significant, but I do notice it.
Is this something that I should see a doctor about?
