We have several casinos in Louisiana and my husband and I enjoy visiting one every now and then. We enjoy playing the slot machines and also eating. Some have very good restaurants or huge all you can eat buffets with everything under the sun offered.
Do you enjoy casinos? What do you like to do while there? Do you play table games, slots, just browse around, visit gift shops, eat at the restaurants, etc?
We usually alot a small amount of playing money for each of us (usually under $50 each) and play slots for awhile and then head off to eat. If we win, WOOHOO--if not we had fun playing.
What about you?

My last winnings were $160.00. On the way home I get a call from hubby saying one of the girls is trying to reach me. Her power steering pump went out and she wanted to borrow money. So much for that winnings!
My hubby is addicted to the buttets. I let loose once and really over did it. I hate being miserable from over eating. After that, I pick out a couple of favorites, get a steak and save room for dessert and coffee. That usually does it for me and I'm happy with my favorites. They have an awesome crawfish fetticine at one we go to often. Yummm!

To be honest I've never been to a casino, I find them too daunting, scary and I have impression of them being only for the rich and well to do, not for a peasant like me! I prefer casinos online, from the comfort of my own home, it's safer as well when I win I don't have to leave with winnings.

Quite a few here in Oklahoma too. I have never been in a casino. Guess it's one of those places I've never been too interested in visiting?

I have only been to the casinos here in Michigan a couple of times. I do not take much money because I only go for fun. I cannot understand people who take along more than they can afford to lose. My nephew did that, and then tried to borrow more from me. Of course, I would not give in because I knew he could not afford it. It is not fun getting too deep in debt. Anyway, I enjoy playing the slots, and during the time I spent about $20 in the slots, he had gambled away nearly $100 running from one table to another, then through the slots then back to the tables again. I tried to tell him to slow down and relax, but he seemed in a big hurry to throw it all away.

When I was working out of town..in Kansas City, MO
I was only 2.5 miles from the STATION casino and I liked their restaurants and I did some gambling with nickel slots..video poker..won a jackpot of 200 dollars..that is a lot of nickels..but yes..it is fun..but it can be addictive if you let it..but you sound like you don't have that problem..i live near four big casinos in Detroit and used to like going to Windsor Canada..but since 911 I don't like to cross the border..to much bother..so i stay away from the Detroit casinos..just don't feel safe..in Detroit..but it is a great way to kill a few hours.

I've only been to the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and well, the casino on the cruise ship that I went on. My ex and I used to go to the Hard Rock Casino once or twice a year. We'd each play $20 on the slot machines, and whenever we were out we were out - or whenever we made like $80 we would cash out and leave. Who knows, maybe we could have kept going and made more - but then again we could have lost the original $40.
