bad hair days: what do you do when you have tried everything and still no luck?

you have teased it, brushed it, put mousse in it, worn it up,worn it down, and still, nothing works.now im actually talking about bad hair days. its winter here, and my hair is terribly static. i cant do anything with it. i just let it be. but it looks bad as it sticks to my head or goes haywire when i put on a jersey. i try to spray it with hairspray so that it would just stay at a reasonable place, but that damages my hair, adding to the struggle.

The best thing I have found for controlling static on my hair is conditioner or lotion. All I do is take just a very small amount of either and put it in the palm of your hand and rub it between your hands......than just smooth into hair.Your hair won't look greasy....but nice and soft....the best part.....no more static. Well hope that helps.

i wear it up. since i have a hair which is long enough for a pony tail, i just tie it and never look at the mirror. i often have bad hair days and it helps when i just tie it up. i don't care if i look the same every day as long as i look presentable to other people. there was 1 time when i got tired of everyday bad hair, so what i did was i had my hair cut super short. it helped and it gave me a different look. much different from my boring hairstyle :)

LOL. I take so much time with my hair - NOT! I brush it, pull it back, twist it into a loop & clip it. I just HATE to have it on my neck - I cut it in the fall & then let it grow until the next fall.
