"Duel" the movie

....with Dennis Weaver driving through the dessert and his encounter with a big truck that is following him and scaring him half to death. Have you seen this movie made in the 70's? This movie is intense and amazing!

LOL! I loved this movie, but haven't thought about it in ages. It's so cheesy (although I suppose it wasn't then) and I am ALWAYS freaked out when I see trucks like the one in the movie. Thankfully, that doesn't happen very often any more. :)

It is so odd for me to like this movie..... Let me tell you a funny story! One NYE my roommate and I had a few couples over from work. Me and one of my friend's husbands were going on and on about this movie. Everyone else was rolling their eyes. We were trying to explain just how intense it was. Later that evening we turned the tv on and guess what was on? It's been a joke between us ever since...lol.

I beleive that this was Stephen Spielbergs directorial debut. I was young when I seen it and thought it was ok. I know have been driving truck myself going on 26 years and I know how that trucker felt...LOL. I have to take a deep breathes on many trips because of the things that people do that they have no idea that they almost caused an accident. I'm not a perfect driver either, by the Grace of GOD, I haven't had a accident and hope I never do. Be careful out there.
