What inspired you when you picked the colors and theme to decorate your place?

I don't really have one main inspiration. My house isn't really all set up to match one specific theme. I see a color- I like it - I paint a wall that color. Then I just see artwork, masks, wallhangings, etc that I like and I put it on whatever wall that goes with the colors.

I've always been more traditional than modern. Twenty years ago I was totally into the country theme.....that evolved more into the country french theme as the years went by. I usually go with what I have to work with....I have some hand me down furniture (nice pieces) and go from there. My living room is the only room that I did all on my own. I have a red chintz floral sofa so that's the focal point.
