I really need to quit smoking

I am trying to quit smoking but it is really hard. I thought that i might be able to just do it on my own but i dont think that i can. With the stress that i am having on the home front it is extra hard. Does anyone have any suggestions on how they stopped smoking?

Good luck, I am also in the process of quitting smoking. I made my mom a promise for Mother's Day, I have basically quit, I have usually 1 cig a day. Its tough but we can do it.

thanks for all the advice. i know it is really hard when things are just not going right in life. That makes it so much harder than if they werent. thanks again for the advice.

Yes I agree it is really hard. but next sunday is my daughters 5th birthday. and I am going to try and quit starting that day. wish me luck

A couple of my friends have used the patch and for some of them it worked. And and you really have to want to. Is all I can say is I wish you a lot of luck and give it a try. Hey it doesnt hurt to give it a try.

yes i really know that i need to quit, the patch is expensive though. I think though it may be covered under my insurance i really need to look into that. thanks

i would love to quit smoking. i have a lot going on as well so its hard. they have lots of stuff out there to help but the cost is crazy. to much money for me to spend. another freind here on mylot gave me the name of a med that her doctor gave her that help a lot and as soon as i can get to the doctors i am gonna ask about it. the name of it is wellbutrin. its worth a try. good luck

yeah it is so expensive these days. i am also thinking about asking the doctor too. just hate going to the docs. lol. thanks.
