Can I get cookie information when performing a redirect?

Yes. Notice that the browser does not know its a redirect until the server replies with an HTTP response code for a redirect (301, 302, etc). So fee.com can get the fee.com cookie (but not the foo.com cookie), then it can bounce the user along to foo.com.
