Teething babies

I would give my son frozen peas. They were cold and hard and too small to choke on. they tasted good. They were good for him He would not heat peas cooked until he was 8 or 9. He thought frozen was the only way to eat them.

I suggest buying the child a teething ring and freezing it. Than give it to the child. If you can't do that or don't have one. A wet wash cloth. Put in the freezer or fridge for a few mintues will work just as well. You can also give the child some tylenol per the childs age to help deal with the discomfort the child is feeling.

i know, it's hard when babies starting to have growing teeth..you can give her teether because they tend to like biting anywhere, so she needs to bite in a soft object and in a clean object too..good luck

Of course, we used all the traditional store remedies that are available, like Baby Ambesol, and Infant's tylenol. Chilled teething rings (the kind with the soft gel inside) are comforting to sore baby gums. When our child was teething, she had a pretty mild time of it, until her side teeth came in and then it was very painful. It was so bad that she got a bad fever. Not trying to scare you. The infants/baby Tylenol brought down the fever and soothed her pain more than anything, so she could sleep. One of the best remedies for teething pain is simply a hug. Babies in pain need to feel the comfort of their parents arms around them. Just cuddling and holding your baby will relieve much of the discomfort that they're feeling. If your baby develops a fever, be sure to consult your pediatrician because fevers can become serious very quickly. Hope those ideas help you out.
