worrying is not good for you nor for the baby, you need to think of nice things and happy things. as long as you always talk to your doctor everything will be alright. to cope up with this read some books that can help you to have a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby. there are a lot to choose on the nearest book store near you im sure. and after birth you can ask the doctor about the newborn screening... this is a kind of test they do to newborn babies do detect any abnormalities. dont worry everything will be alright.

It is never easy! And if your doc says that things are okay, you have to have a certain amount of faith. Just relaxe and what helped me was buying one of those at home fetal monitors that allows you to hear the baby. Whenever I would get anxious I would pull it out. It is rather small too about the size of a portable cd player, It was worth the money (not too expensive either). Maybe all you need to do is hear your little one when you start having those feeling and you will realize everyhting is okay. good luck!!

I had three scans of my baby, the first at 11 weeks, the second at 17 weeks and the third at 20 weeks. I was told everything was fine. Then at 36 weeks I was told that I might have pre exclampsia. I went to the hospital for testing. I had another scan and found out my baby has spina bifida. I really hate hospitals and so still went ahead with the home birth I had planned. My baby boy was born on 19th May and he is getting excellent medical help. He has already has had two successful operations. In the special care baby unit it is amazing to see the babies getting cared for. Something bad has happened to all the babies in there but they are all getting better. I suggest warm baths for relaxation. I feel sure that your baby is healthy. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Think about being strong for the baby and all the positives. I used to be scared of falling down and it happened. The law of attraction was in full effect. Ignore your fears or try to.

I think all pregnant women go through this in their pregnancies! I started going through that about 6 months along or so. I am now 7 months and am feeling a bit better after going over things over and over about the birth, what we would like to do or not do and *what if* situations. Just start writing down what your fears are and what you would do if that happened! It's a great way to get those thoughts out and down on paper!
