What's the best broadband alternative service for those unable to get cable or dsl?
I know that satellite services are in existence, but I believe they are highly-priced. Even so, money is now no object. Please help!

Wild blue satellite service is avaliable everwhere and starts around $50USD a month. It doesnt have a CIR but you are looking at DSL speeds with a bit more latency. Which is not a problem if you are not doing any online gaming, VPN, or QOS. Just for general web traffic its fine.
