Can anybody elaborate on this one?

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Do you agree on this one?

Because I've chosen not to feed into negativity and live my life in a way that makes me happy - this includes my interractions, my attitude, my thoughts, my writing, etc. - I've been accused of being fake and two-faced. It seems impossible for certain people in my life to believe that I really AM a happy person, I really DON'T have deep seeded psychological issues and I'm NOT as negative as they are. It's in interesting and annoying position to be in . . . it bothers me a lot that people don't believe I'm genuine, but then again, they hate life and everything about everything anyway, so why should their negative attitude about me bring me down? It shouldn't . . .

I have worked with people that were too cheerful in my opinion and it is annoying but it's even more annoying to be around people that are constantly negative. They tend to be miserable and drag others down to their level. I've been trying to be positive as much and often as I can these days. It not only makes you feel better, it draws positive people to you but it's not as easy as it sounds, some days it's a struggle to force yourself to think positively. You don't have to find a silver lining on EVERY cloud but you shouldn't find a cloud on every silver lining either. In my opinion, it's a matter of balance. Don't be afraid to allow yourself sorrow but don't dwell on the past and negativity either. Consider your thoughts a magnet and the things you desire to be steel, this attraction also works with things you do NOT want. The universe doesn't seem to understand the negative so if you dwell on things like, "Please God, DON'T let me have an accident!", you may just attract the accident you wish to avoid.
