..the book of revelation tells us what will happen in the future.. Amazingly for instance, two thousand years ago it was written the world would suffer ecological woes, economic crash, and eventually collapse in a fiery puff of smoke.. Yes, it's me, trying to cheer you up!:)
- But hey, the bible does say that.. I'm wondering how many of you have prayed with tears for this world.. Too many shadows and dark alleys on this old planet.. You know what the good news is? Besides our own salvation?/Rescue
- I'm wondering how many ever entertain the thought that God's great plan of salvation might possibly reach deeper (be more successful) than most seem to think?
- Ten years ago my son (age 16 then) asked me two questions. I wasn't satisfied with my answers.. so I prayed.. and the real answers knocked my socks off. His questions were "why did God put the tree of knowing good and evil in the garden?" and "isn't it great, we get to be an ant farm?" - yes a little cynical for one so young..
[disclaimer: not everyone will be able to make sense of my post, not right away anyway.]

man I think you have a problem... but then I think that all of us has a problem...
What's my problem? OOOO that's very simple... My problem is that you are freaking me out... and not just a little bit... I mean big time... and I can't understand why...
I can understand that you believe in something, and that's great... but I don't understand what are you trying to say... so if you have a gift you should use it more wisely... and with less passion...;)

Dan_ul, part of it is a challenge to think about my son's questions, if one is so minded..

hi!:)
...that ended up being the point.. it's exactly because we're not an ant farm, that the world is in the shape it is. And also is why human beings are so imperfect, and why there is suffering, even great sufferings which go on.
- But not only that, but God, being ``Life`` itself, lives through, feels and experiences all sufferings which ever occur! Why would He put Himself through all that? Because He's not creating an ant farm, but the very best - a family (of many beautiful branches, angels..)and an unbreakable paradise...

Well I hope God starts a contest, that would be fun lol. About an ideal recue pklan for mankind, and whoever wins get's to sit at Hist table every day upstairs lol. I often have this terrible sense of Humour but God knows me and because I have been through a lot, He knows I have to be a bit funny sometimes so I don't become too cynical and lose it. I am still baffled by your post but one day my pea brain will get it lol..hahahaha

...actually, you're quite right.. and I hope you don't mind my saying so.. but according to the bible, Jesus sits at the 'table' you mentioned, it says he overcame the grave for all and then "sat down at the right hand of God waiting til all things are subdued by it.."
- But I think there's lots of truth in all great religions - the meditation from Indian mystics (wow!).. the (I can't think of the word!) from China.. Would that be the "Tao"? No people are wiser or more inspiring than the Chinese people! I can't wait til oneday we all learn from one another.. and celebrate being the great family we are. Don't mind me, after thirty years of study, I've realized that ultimate reality (the 'end' result) can only be the ultimate best possibility.
peace and prayers!:)

You are so right flowerchilde, anything we would like to know is right in the Bible. The book of revelation tells us about everything that will happen,it is so plain for all to see.The problem with it all though is some people do not believe, some people do not even believe in god.I do beleive in god and i know what the Bible says is true, and yes i stand on that word. The things that has been told to us from the Bible, some od it has already happened, and some is happening as we speak. It tells us very plainly what will come to pass and he also told us that when we see these things happening to LOOK UP for our redemption draweth nigh....I made perfect sense from your post and im sure anyone who is a believer will also...When we stand before God on that day,we cannot say we did not know.Thank you for reminding some of those that are in darkness.

I got your point. but sometimes when you think too hard, it may not do you any good. We know that Jesus was a simple man but full of wisdom. the Bible teaches us that don't think too much of the future for the future(tomorrow) has its own worries. We may not be able to see the end of the world as predicted in the Bible as there are a lot of other causes for people to die young. So, i think the most ideal for a Christian to be is to be pure now/present, live a simple life, do good, don't stop to pray and let God take care of the future. (but then, of course we plan things for the future - but by God's will, it may happen, it may not)
