we all help each other here at mylot. when was the last time though that you helped someone face to face that you didnt know? it could be as simple as opening a door for someone or taking there cart to the cart rack at walmart so they didnt have to etc. the last time i helped someone that i can really think of was yesterday i was on break at work and sitting down when a old woman came out with bags of dog food and other stuff. she wasnt walking good with the cart either so i got up and went over and put the stuff in her car for her. she just smiled at me and said thank you. a few weeks ago i saw an ad online in a group for my city asking for help with household items cause they lost allt ehre stuff and were getting a place to live in a week and needed help with dishes etc. well we had a place here for rent and i had some stuff i didnt have to have really so i wrote her she ended up moving here cause it was cheaper, bigger, and i worked with her for depostis and rent. i let them move in and not pay for anything till next month and then they could catch up when they could so that it was easier for them and they could afford food lol. anyways what is the thing you did for someone last? someone you didnt know.

I always try to watch for people who might need help with the door as I am going to or leaving a public place. It is a small thing but it is a habit now with me and I get to help someone practically everyday. I never realized what a real effort it can be to go places with a baby stroller until I had one myself. I honestly never paid much attention to moms with strollers gettting in and out of doors.

Hmm, this is not a rare phenomemnon in my country India. We genreally does help out anyone, in fact people don't miding getting helped either - they feel free to ask favors lolz. You can meet hundreds of ppl who would be interested in taking a lift from you, and unlike other countires, thais is quite normal here in India. People dont mind giving lift and takers to dotn mind asking for one either :) So, thats just an idea I gave you - you can expect more. If you have some 'good' neighbours( pun intended), you can always expect to do favors for them - they will give you some wonderful opprotinit everyday - right from asking from a cup of milk, to taking away your car ot two wheeler for a good hour or so (:D), they give pletful opportunites to us to increase our good deeds and reserve our quota in heavan hehe! So, with such wonderful ppl around, could one really remembers when-it-was-done-last :D Blessed be :)

Actually I do not remember any particular incident. However there occured one incident some days back. I found a blind man trying to cross the all bussy road in our city. He wes holding one cain in his hand. I helped him to cross the road. But such things happen and I don't consider as a help to them, but as my duty to do so. It gives pleassure and satisfaction when we do such things to others. Thank you easymoney.

I always have the habit of helping everyone, even if they are stranger. Sometimes, I have helped some old people out in the roads for their food. Sometimes, I have helped some orphans at the Bus stand to reach their place by giving them some money. And many more, which I really dont remember now. But there is a saying, " Forget what good you have done to others and help others without expecting anything from them". Thats what i have done.

Well for me it would have been yesterday when I took my youngest with me to fill up the car so we went inside to pay and there was a line and in front of the line was a lil old man trying to pay for his gas and soda but kept dropping money all over the ground and it truly amazed me that watching all these people just stand there and stare - really disgusting so my son & I picked up all that he dropped and put it on the counter for him - you should have seen the look on his face - it was like no one had ever done anything like that for him and he was so thankful and even told my son that he wished he was his grandson since he was so nice to help him out!!! But then the things that strike me the wrong way are as we are leaving there are others coming towards the door so my son & I hold open the door for them and they go out of their way to go through another door - WTH - I mean what did they think we wanted a damn tip for opening the door for them!!!! Just makes you wonder if there are those who can't accept a simple kind gesture!!!!

Well there are foreigners coming to our city. most of them gets lost in the city. the last i encountered was German guy. He isnt good in English but listening intently i knew where he wants to go. i gave him directions but seems he couldnt get it so i end taking him there. and tell him to be careful next time. i find out that he was dropped by the taxi driver somewhere else maybe because the taxi driver didnt understand him.

Different people helps the needy persons in different ways. As far as i can rembember last week I helped a person who who could not walk. He was sitting on a board with tyres to move around. With his hands he was pushing that board forward. I felt really sympathetic & gave him money. We should thank GOD that HE has given us all the body parts to us so that we can lead a happy life. When u see people who are poor or handicapped, we should really thank GOD that we are better than others.
