Getting back into the swing of things... :)

June 4, 2007 1:22pm CST
How do you manage getting back into the swing of things? Care to share? all views/inputs are welcomed and valued :) so feel free to leave a response.. /--My Response-----/ It takes awhile for me to do it. I wouldn't say I give up but sometimes I do put things off until they're easier, as this a way for me to handle things. Although it is important to dive in sometimes and just get back to normal. :) ~Joey P.s I'm back now (fully)... hehe

Well, that is so good to know. I hate putting things off, so I am always ready to do whatever. I like to be on top of my game and do my best in them.

Hey Lydia1901 :) That's great to hear! Getting side tracked can be a long route to nowhere so I'm glad to see that you are focused. :) kudos! ~Joey Thanks for input...

Whatever happened to you anyway? :P Anyway, the best rule is nike's rule in this case... JUST DO IT! Don't think, just bash through. Forge ahead as if nothing happened then things will really be fine. ;-)

Those pesky aliens buddy... Nah, I didn't have time to juggle things how I wanted and had to focus on working more. (great for sites growth) cough* cough* Nice... Yeah I think most people should follow that as an example :) ~Joey

For me it's a case of putting a toe in the water and going ooooooh, then putting a foot, then the leg and eventually plunging in, I don't believe in jumping straight in, I need to prepare my body and brain for the shock. Getting back to normal too quickly after a break for whatever reason can be a shock to the system. For example I have been out of work for 4 years now, jumping back into work full time would be a complete shock, so I'm doing it slowly at first and hopefully in a couple of months I'll be ready for full time again!
