What do you think would be a smart solution to the growing problem of the depletion of Social Security for our younger generations?

For starters I think the government needs to quit dipping into the social security pot to pay for other things. I also think they need to police the social security disability program (SSI) more carefully. I have known a number of perfectly healthy, active people who continue to receive SSI payments indefinitely.

I agree 100% to the better policing of the disability benefits, what do you think we could do to make that happen, start an agency, put the power in the hands of the people somehow?

I think by the time they collect it it will not exist. that's why they should put some money aside. so when they get older they will have it.
