I'm sure we all have role models in our lives, whether it be friends or relatives, but what about heros of your country? Who in your country has made a significant enough contribution that they should be considered a role model? What did they do?
Myself, I'm from Ontario Canada and I feel that Terry Fox should be a role model to everyone. Terry had cancer and still walked across the country (with an artificial leg and in bad health) to raise money for cancer research.

You know jshean20 I can't answer.
I wish I could think of someone who's a role model in the united kingdom but most people who actually make a difference "big" differences are only doing it for the media and the attention it gets. such as mr boom town rat's dodgy grandfather, of course I am joking.
I don't know. I think we all are role models, I hope someone see's me as one but in not I can always try :)
Kudos,
