Now I'm annoyed... (This is stupid)

Awhile ago I had a similar problem as this story here..
http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=133942&command=displayContent&sourceNode=229136&home=yes&more_nodeId1=133951&contentPK=17480626
I'm annoyed by the fact they've been "given" an apology and the fact two stops doesn't make much of a difference. Don't get me wrong it's evil of the driver to kick the boy of for crying when he was hurt but I can't help but feel she's after "media" attention from this. Why take him to playschool? if he's hurting... (which is where she told our local tv station she was taking him)
My wife and I was treated by a looney passenger who didn't like the fact my wife had a suite case in a space where a disabled person or buggy could go. It was heavy and I was already loaded with my own handful so I couldn't help her, these seats aren't just for those people though. (normal people take them and never move)
4 buses we had to take to manage to collect my grandmothers belongings so that we could take them to her new home. 3 buggies can only get on which is what happened, my wife moved out the way as much as she could and one of those buggies we're not in use. The bus driver allowed another bloody buggy on which was the looney women. (straight away) she told my wife to move and attempted to scare her because she couldn't move the women tried kicking up a stink (getting people on the bus to yell abuse at my wife).. about 7 stops from our destination the driver stopped and told my wife "you have to move, you're not allowed to sit here.. please move!" my wife explained that she couldn't because she couldn't manage lifting the suite case. (the driver then picked it up and slammed the case in a small space for luggage half poking out)
This had important things inside. such as photos of my grandfather!!!! (who's dead) very, special things. My wife was then forced to stand right near the front and the buggy packed in with the rest. (no space to move for them)
The women continued to insult my wife etc when a guy with a bugger turned and said "I'll throw her off" to which cranked me off and I told him to pick on someone his own size and that I'd get in the way if he tried. by this time we was a couple minutes away from our stop when I got up and carried wha i had she told and said "your both ***king looking, I'm going to kill you" i said "oh well, please try it" (stupid I know)
To cut things the driver then told us to get off! I mean, we was already getting off. I took what I was carring off and then my wife tried to get the suite case off (yet struggling) those who got involved before was then shouting "get off" and much worse to which I said to the driver, look let me back on so I can help her.
He wouldn't even let me back on I had to take it from the outside and rush because the idiot tried driving off! (slowly moving) as away to push us along...
Shocked by this my wife was very hurt/bothered.. I went mental and decided to try and report the driver. (which they wouldn't take at the time)
We e-mailed them asking them to take action because this shouldn't happen.. nothing! just an e-mail saying they couldn't do anything because they didn't have the drivers name although we told them the time and what number the bus was....
SOOOOO ANNOYING..
~Joey
P.s There goes my blue star but I thought since no one here cares I'd share it here..

This is totally messed up. If a Company was ever truly like this with me, you can guarantee I would be making a Complaint in the News Paper and the BBB if a company ever said there was nothing they could do because you did not have the Drivers name. This is totally uncalled for, and who would have a Drivers name? Was it supposed to be posted somewhere so you would know? I ride a Metro Bus almost everyday, and I do not know the drivers. Just the Bus numbers and times I ride them. Most of the time here, the Bus I ride is a different driver every day.

You can say that again.
We sent two e-mails the first which received "we can't do anything" and another who ignored us. I tried calling the depot regarding this and after years of trying to get through I managed to talk to "a" manager, who just said he had seen the report and that they wasn't sure who the bus driver was. (so nothing to reassure us)
Your right though. I'm sure if I had taken this to the media we would of got at least something to make us feel that they cared about their passengers etc.

P.s I don't know any bus drivers names either and I used to catch them all the time. it takes the biscuit but as mentioned above least it's over, I'll sulk elsewhere :)
Thanks KrauseHome..

Firstly, hey Joey I take it you mean no one cares via the bus company and not here on Mylot? Oh the joys of taking public transport with the degenerates of society, I am sorry you went through this ordeal, and their excuse is pitiful, as too is the empty, blanket apology which is probably a template they send out, if this is a service they run, god help us all, is it any wonder why we refuse to give up our cars and travel on this dirty, tardy, disrespectful and negligent drivers. I would have been screaming blue murder too, and I will be sending him some bad karma on your behalf my friend. Ignorant toerag.

Of course not here on mylot.
Part of the reason I posted it here was due to knowing others cared and at the time I just wanted voice my anger...
Oh well I've since stopped using the bus service here, after the prise rises in fares and how they act.
Thanks for being a pal Brian :)

Well, sorry to hear that but it is to be expected considering the way people act towards each other nowadays. It goes to show ya that no one really cares at all and everyone is thinking of themselves instead of be curtious to others.

Good point...
I wished more bus users would fight back because moaning to the media isn't the answer. It's standing up and saying their not happy with the currant service (which many due moan about) yet do nothing to better things.
Oh well I'm moaning here.. Thanks lydia :) It's nice to have friends who see sense. kudos

Sorry to hear your story, Dude. I'm with you all the way. I think those drivers deserve to be punished and I hope those people/women who insulted your wife realize how undisciplined they are. They acted so barbaric. But if you think they are not educated then I think we should not go down to their level. At least it's over now.

that is stupid that telling you toget off the bus. you are entitled to sit where and when you want. if there are enough prams on the bus the driver should not let anymore on. this is the main reason why everyone hates using buses especially when you get spoken to like a piece of crap. its disgusting

I think it is awful the busdriver made her get off! Babies cry all the time and mature peopel should be able to ignore it! You said that two stops doesnt make a difference, but she had a baby (and possibly other stuff) to carry. She didn't want to (and should NOT have to ) walk two blocks with her baby because he was crying! Big woop. Babies cry, that's life. I don't think she is trying to get media attention. Something unjustified happened to her and she reported it. She didn't ask to be thrown off the bus.
It is very terrible what happened to you and your wife! I think that jerk driver should have gotten in a lot of trouble. And I def. think the company knows who was driving the bus and just don't want to have to deal with it. I think it is great how you stood up for your wife like that! Good job, kick their....butts...next time! hehe

Hey don't get me wrong it did make me mad too. (after watching the news report) any parent would be :)
Although it's more like five minutes away and I've managed to walk the very same route pushing my son (which is younger) and then cut on to another just to go home and she had nothing to carry, except stroll her son.
Also there are certain changes to her stories and what she says doesn't add up. earlier today the same tv station who issued the report and interviewed her received two e-mails from passengers who was on that bus and they said she was yelling abuse after the driver asked her to get off. (not told) so it seems like she's took the story and span it. It's not acceptable no, but even I wouldn't see a driver just telling them to get off because I'd put money on someone would of stuck up for her but either there's no need to yell abuse. (if true)
Best thing for her was to probably get off and just do the walk. (after all I'm sure it's best for child) they pick stuff like this up so easily. poor thing :)
/second part/
Oh your right I'm sure they do know.. I would of liked them to say sorry but as far as I'm concerned their not worth using. :)

I fully agree. :)
Drivers should stick to driving. The thing a lot of people here are annoyed with is the fact he did "ask" or whatever and when there's muggers or people who are playing loud music or shouting on the phone (starting on people) etc they do nothing..
I guess she was an easy target, I just hope some good will come from this.
Thanks for chatting :)

Yeah when I read that article I WAS wondering why no one was sticking up for her. I def. see how she probably yelled at the bus driver and said unnecessary stuff. If that's all true that was wrong of her, but I still think the driver had no right to even ask her to get off the bus because her baby was crying. But I see what you are saying about everything else.
