Spray-On Tans?

I've started going back to "fake and baking" to get a nice base tan for the summer even though it's not great for your skin longterm, and a lot of people have been talking about spray-on tans that you can get done at salons. I checked out the prices and I was blown away.. the one salon that guaranteed a 'natural looking tan' charged $130 per session, and they recommended 2 sessions to even out your tan.
Has anyone ever tried it? Is it worth the money? Does the tan actually look natural? Any tips for helping make it look good?

Sooooo not worth the money. It's spray on....no different than self tanner you use at home, maybe with a little branzer in it so u think u see results right away but you can get the stuff you spray on at home with bronzer as well. I have used at home self tanners before and I got the best results from Mercelle srpay on self tanner, just spray it on and smooth it in so its even, and then use scrub on your hands so your palms don't turn orange. There are also those new moistureizers that are suposed to be used daily and slowly give you a tan, but i have never tried those.

You will get that patchy look if you skin isn't properly moisturized or if the solution you used is too high of a % for your skin type...most people use an 8%
$130 is a lot for a spray on tan...unless you are going to Sunset Tan and they charge that much because celebrities use them, the solution they use is just Cal-Tan and there are many solutions that are much better.
Where are you located, most mobile tanners range from $25-$40 and they will come to your house.
Are they recommending 2 session one right after the other?
You should only need one every week, you can also get that patchy(lizard skin) look by getting a 2nd tan before the other one has started to fade.
You can buy the spray tan solution and apply it yourself with a car polish pad or go to ebay and get your own machine....Jet tan is one that is pretty inexpensive and works well for home use.
