When my parents had their 25th anniversary a few years ago, my sister and I put together a surprise party for them. We were able to reserve the church where they had their wedding and reception, and then we invited as many of the people who came to their actual wedding as we could get a hold of, and played the same music that they had during their actual wedding ceremony, and then we had cake and punch and some other little refreshments. We had my aunt and uncle tell my parents that they wanted to take them out to eat for their anniversary, and then they actually drove them to the church instead and everyone surprised them there. They were really touched by it, and it was actually I think the only time I've ever seen my dad cry!! :)

depends on how many of you are there and how much you are willing to spend... you could send them on a cruise, how about a night out at the theatre or what about a family picture of you kids all grown up (minus the kids) it doesnt have to cost a lot but it should be special!

I suggest you get them something that can be personalized with their names, and the date of their 25th anniversary, or a special memory plate or cup that says "25th anniversary" on it, or something like that. Those kinds of gifts are always a big hit.

A painting of both of them together. That will be more expensive, than something smaller. So smaller could be a painting of something they both love, or related to that special day. Once decided send a pic to http://www.paintyourlife.com/ and see more instructions on their site. Karl
