More and more number of youngsters are getting sddicted to stocks trading these day's and it's a worrying factor as we get to see many college going students getting addicted to stock trading and making money online as this trend might leadto lose interest in studies as they start to earn some extra money by investing in stocks..what do you say?

I'm with bad penny here. I invest most of my time into making money online in other ways as opposed to the stock market, because I don't have the amount of funds I would like to have to set up a stock portfolio of about 40 stocks (which takes most of the risk out of it if they're well diversified), otherwise I would be involved. I've always made good grades, and been apart of an athletic team so it's always been hard to find time to work and that's why I got involved in earning online in the first place. I know that for every college kid investing in the stock market, there's another that's losing his money. I also know that for every 22 year old whiz kid making a killing playing online poker, there's 25 losing money, but I don't see any reason why someone shouldn't do it if they're successful at it. Interesting topic!

I can understand your point of view and being an athleteitself requires lots of time for practicing isn't it? more over dedicating time for stocks trading is not taht easy and to also take tensions will be too much to bear for sure.If somecan do that , he should be a genious as smell of success in making money will spoil more people. Anyways, thanks for responding

Every body is just running after money now.It is not a very good thing to do.The students should face their studies now and not pursue money so much.Knowledge is power.Their education is what should be number one in their lives now

Yes, you are right and everyone can try out different things of making money after they finish of their studies and if they get involved in these things in between their studies, it will just effecttheir carrier for sure and meanwhile if something bad goes in their effort of making money, then the worse problems will arise and will be very difficult to cope with in coming day's. Anyway's, thanks for responding

As a student myself, I have to juggle my studies, my work, and run my household on a daily basis. Although I don't trade stocks, if I had the initial investment, I would, simply because I have to eat and pay rent just like everyone else. Not all students have parents to support them while they puruse their education. Knowledge may be power, but money keeps us afloat. Without an income, many students would have to abandon their studies and work full time. If they can make good money investing, why shouldn't htey be allowed to?

Ok.Don't you think investing in stock market requires some study and also you might have to take enough tensions along with the study as also you will have to do both-your studies as well as stocks trading.I think students should not get into this untill they finish their studies as it might have more bad effects for sure Anyways, thanks for responding

I still disagree with you and definitelt everybody cannot be a success by doing college studies and trading together and to tell you that some of them can manage and not everybody and as you said, if they are given free hand in this thinking that they have grown old, it is a mistake for sure as they might also get spoiled for sure Anyway's, thanks for responding

I'm sure a lot of research must be done to be successful trading stocks. The same could be said for finding a job or getting a date. College students are adults, and should make their own decisions about such matters. We really should let them learn from their own mistakes without passing judgment on their decisions. If they are serious about their studies, nothing will stand in their way outside of not being able to afford tuition. If I had had the opportunity to trade stocks when I was in my late teens and early twenties, I wouldn't be working towards my degree at 49. But I didn't and spent those wonderful years with no social life on the brink of poverty I raised my son alone, and I have lost those times forever. I wish I could have traded stocks as easily as people can today.
