We all know that appointing foreign coaches has become a trend in many cricket playing nations and is it a good trend to continue! don't you think every country wil have it's own former greats who can be appointed as coach? what are your opinions on this...share it here please

Hello, alienstar,it may be a good thing for a team to have foreign coaches so as to improve the standard of their own teams. Foreign coaches have more experiences and they can have some new ideas of coaching which may be very different from the local ones.

Yes, i also agree to your point of view and here i should add that the foreign coaches once appointed shouldn't get into internal politics of the country they are appointed to isn't it? once they start getting involved in such things it will be pretty hard for everyone as matters will become more confusing and lots of misunderstandings and tensions will set in isn't it?

The idea of a foriegn coach is good especially for a country like India where nepotism and prejudice takes precedence over talent. There still is zonal bias in the Indian cricket team selection where players from powerful boards get multiple opportunities. Those with talent don't have that privilege. An Indian coach would be no diiferent as seen from the past. The record speaks. Having a foreign coach is like having neutral umpires in finals.

Yes, i agree with your views and i would like to add a bit here. A fireign coach once appointed should notinvolve in other political issues and should concentrate on bulding a good rapport with the players as it will help them in building a strong team . Anyway's, thanks for responding

Foreign coach or same country coach the most important thing is he should be a person capable of boosting the mind of a player. Not every great player who has a phenomenal record at past can become a great coach.

Yes, playing and coaching are two differemnt things and as you said, one who paly's well need not be agood coacha nd vice versa and according to me a good coach should get alomng well with all palyers and if some player is dropped from teamalso he should encourage him so that he won't lose his confidence in future. Anyway's, thanks for responding

In some way's, it is good to have aforeign coach as theer is some argument that they will deal with players without knowing any internal politics and by getting involved in team selections, they also do some justification and in other way's all our ex-players who have served their country will not get any chance even if they are willing isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding
