I have a bit of a habit for buying expensive things, usually handbags or clothes. Thats a huge amount of money to spend on a phone, was it insured? Ive spent £150 (3300 pesos i believe) on a handbag before which i consider to be a lot of money...unfortunately I spilled tomato ketchup on it the same day...I was devasatated!

It is not insured. And too bad, the money i used for that cellphone came from my 3 months earnings. I need to earn again from my school allowance.

The most expensive thing that I bought was a cellphone. It costed around Php 7,000 plus, more expensive than my PSP which I bought for Php 7,000 flat. I bought it for a colleague who I secretly liked but, sadly, we didn't end up together (^_^") She's still using it though..

Probably the van, that was £1500. The house doesnt count as its mortgaged, but that would be our overall biggest spend to date I suppose.

So far the most expensive thing I bought is my laptop. I am still paying for it at 0% interest for 18 mos. I'm also paying a digicam for 12 mos. Too bad you lost your cellphone, my sister bought a cellphone with her first salary and sad to say it was also snatched. Cellphones are really prone to snatching here in our place.
