How Often Do You Rate Articles on Helium.com?

I usually spend about an hour writing an article and then 15 minutes rating an article. If you don't rate articles, then you don't get your articles rated. I think they back-log all the rating so that the more you rate, the more your articles get exposure.

I probably have spent more time rating articles than writing articles. :) Unfortunately, I don't have as much free time lately, so writing or rating for Helium has fallen by the wayside.

I agree, it seems like I was doing much more writing on Helium during the Spring and Winter. I thought Summer was supposed to be free and easy.

I try and rate four articles every time I write one. Then once a week I try and rate for a long period of time. I don't like rating, so it is frustrating for me, but getting my articles seen is important. For awhile I was writing a lot and with my rate four articles policy I was doing really good with two gold stars. Lately I haven't gotten as much and don't have stars for rating anymore.

I am on Helium, but have never figured out how to make any Real $$ there. It was only letting me rate one or two when I was in there trying to rate again just recently.

I rate once in a while, I think about every other day, until the subject bored me, then I stop. I believe rating has something to do with earning your pennies too. I haven't been on Helium this last month because the kids went back to school and I just got busy with the new demand.

I usually rate about 10 or so articles after I write one. It adds up rather quickly, I got 5 stars for rating 500 articles and it didn't seem like I had rated that many.

At first I didn't rate much because I was focused on writing and earning and you don't earn for writing. But rating helps when I have writer's block because it introduces me to popular topics to write about.

After I submit, I rate all the articles they list until they say there are no more to rate. Sometimes, this takes a few minutes and other times it takes much longer. I have no idea how it impacts my account, but I'm sure it's helping other writers somehow. I'm very new over there, so I'm not sure how it all works yet.
