Pink is associated with the female form. It's a soft color (supposedly), and it reminds people of flowers. Flowers usually are a female-associated item.

I don't really know the answer but maybe because pink color is very much connected to woman for so many years. But right now this fashion thing is beginning to change. Here in my country, the popularity of the color pink to men are now getting bigger (and other pastel like yellow, orange, powder blue, etc.). I could see pink in everywhere and everyone is now starting to have a pink clothes or shirt in their dressing room or cabinet.

My favorite color is purple and daughter absolutley hates pink. Hubby has had a couple of pink shirts and I have seen nothing wrong with that. I thought that there was a prison that made all the inmates wear pink in the hopes that the study that said it made them calmer worked. Anyway, this is a society where anything does and we have no concerns really about it.

pink is traditionally a girls color. when a woman has a girl, most ppl will give clothing and gifts that are pink..blue for boys. so right from the start pink is feminine. and since gay men are for the most part considered feminine..the color gets assoiciated with homosexuality.

I think it just one of those things that women like the most and if a guy start to like it too, then he gets to be labeled as gay.

I was always under the impression that the rainbow was the color of homosexuality. Have you heard this too?
