You do get money when people respond to your discussions but you only get paid for the first response. You won't get paid for each and every posts made to your discussion. I don't know how much they pay, no one knows how much mylot pays for responding to posts and mylot will not disclose this info. Generally you are paid anywhere from 1 cet to perhaps 2 cents but never more. I hope this helps.
